The Abbey of the Hills is excited to announce that we have hired the next Executive Director, Dave Vetch!
Dave started his position on December 2, 2024. The Abbey is grateful for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in this process. Wow, no candidate is ‘perfect’, but Dave checks many, many boxes and we are very blessed to welcome him as the next Executive Director!
After obtaining a degree in education, he taught and coached for 4 years. For the next 22 years he worked with State Farm Insurance, both as an agent and a corporate executive. Dave was blessed to serve for over 8 years as Director of the Aberdeen Catholic Foundation.
Dave married Sara, his college sweetheart, and raised four children. The blessings keep on coming. They have four grandchildren and three more on the way!!
Deacon Paul Treinen will begin serving as AOTH Board President as well as continuing as the chair of the Abbey’s Spiritual Committee.
